I am really grateful that my short film “Our World is on Fire – an oratorio for our future” became the winner in the category “Film on Nature / Environment / Wildlife”!

When I decided to record the live premiere of my oratorio on video I did not know what chances this documentary will provide for me for spreading the word about global warming and get in touch with people from all around the world! Great opportunity, great festival!

Of course I would have prefered to attend the festival in person, but it was not possible for me this time … But: in addition to the film I do a global virtual performance right now. A professional and innovatively supportive film festival for upcoming producers and directors.

Thank you CICFF for selecting my movie and also awarding on 3 categories. We are very thrilled to receive the awards and grateful to the jury for the due diligence.

I must add that the entire process with CICFF was very smooth with very prompt responses and sticking to the dates as mentioned in their literature.

One suggestion – on the results page, if you can put a hyperlink to the movies for others to watch the various movies in the different categories, that would be awesome.
